Photo Gallery: Fall Out Boy and Rise Against at Wrigley Field

| September 10, 2018

For the entirety of the concert going season this summer at Wrigley Field, it has been the “away” teams that have dominated. Well, all that changed this past weekend when home-towners Fall Out Boy brought their Mania Tour to the baseball cathedral at the corner of Clark and Addison.

The Chicago natives also bolstered up the local flavor by adding post-punk politicos Rise Against to the bill. The former delivered a career spanning collection of punk-pop singalongs, a 4th of July worthy collection of pyrotechnics and enough ticker tape confetti cannons to severely disrupt even the newest of septic systems. The later used their set to exercise their brand of straight-ahead, politically charged protest rock. Hard rock rapper Machine Gun Kelly, fresh off a recent hip-hop beef with Eminem, lit things up for those who arrived early for battling practice.
