Bowling Green’s Cage The Elephant have arguably become one of the best live bands on the planet after nearly a decade in the Rock N’ Roll trenches. At a packed UIC Pavilion on Tuesday there was no evidence to the contrary. Currently touring behind their fourth album Tell Me I’m Pretty, the band was completely immersed in their performance. So much so, that when a fan snuck up on stage, vocalist Matt Shultz simply turned the song into a duet then heartily hugged the gatecrasher. Curt Baran brought his camera into the swirling chaos. Here’s how the evening looked.
