Passion Pit live shots!
With so many people focusing on the state of Michael Angelakos’ mental health, it appeared that the Passion Pit frontman was looking to make a point when he took the stage on Friday night at UIC Pavilion. Whether most fans in attendance were familiar with his recent struggle, starting the set with the euphoric “I’ll Be Alright” still seemed to be an affirming moment for Angelakos. His exuberance and charisma had the crowd whipped into a frenzy and he constantly played to the edge of the stage rallying fans to provide backing vocals. (All photos by Mike Sosin.)
