INHD Network doesn’t really need to provide a lot of reasons to watch “London Live” on New Year’s Eve, what with the state-of-the-art high definition, Dolby 5.1 sound, and 1080i picture and all. But if they are looking for a selling point, we have an easy one: It’s this or Carson Daly on NBC and Ryan Seacrest on ABC.
Of course, you need HD to watch INHD, but if you do (the station is available as part of the hi-definition offerings from a number of cable providers, including Comcast) it will certainly be worth your drunken New Year’s TV gazing) “London Live” is a concert series hosted by British television personality Joe Mace and aired during INHD’s prime-time MOJO lineup. The New Year’s edition comprises the most popular performances – voted on by viewers – from its first season. The Flaming Lips, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Morrissey, The Streets, Nelly Furtado, and Snow Patrol are just a few of the acts you’ll be able to see in high-definition glory.
