Danced, thought I’d never stop. This spunky Rhino compilation throws mostly British ’80s cuts at some of the world’s top remixers.
Honestly, it all kinda sounds the same, but DJ mixes are supposed to be seamless, right? Devo, Morrissey, New Order, Yaz, Alphaville, and Grandmaster Flash appear fairly thrown together on the back cover, but they mesh with superiority once the digital sparks begin to fly. The original version of each might be the better cuts, but not butted-up like this.
