In a short number of years, Post Malone went from an unknown rapper to a music superstar. Now, the singer will bring his unique blend of rap, rock, metal, and pop to the United Center as part of his “Twelve Carat Tour” this Wednesday, September 14, at 8 PM. Tickets.

Jason Pierce and company will bring the hypnotic space-pop of Spiritualized to the Vic Theatre on Thursday, September 15. The English band is supporting its captivating new album. Everything Was Beautiful. Finely crafted songs, including the lonely and longing “Always Together With You” and the hazy but propulsive optimism of “The Mainline Song,” infuse Pierce’s artistic balance between bravado and insecurity with psychedelic rock, classic pop, orchestral, and gospel music influences. Tickets are still available. Classic rock supergroup The Dead Daisies, fronted by former Deep Purple bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes comes to the Arcada Theatre Thursday, Sept 15; read our Q&A with Glenn; tickets are still available at Oshows.com

For the past few years, Matt Skiba has been touring the world with Blink-182. This weekend, he returns as the frontman for Alkaline Trio for a homecoming show at the Metro to warm them up for their headlining Riot Fest set on Friday. The band will play Metro with Sincere Engineer on September 15. Doors open at 8 PM.

Riot Fest returns for its 2022 edition with headliners fans have been waiting for. After previously canceling their sets due to COVID, My Chemical Romance and Nine Inch Nails will be headlining along with the Original Misfits. Other acts on the bill include Alkaline Trio, Jimmy Eat World, Ice Cube, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, YUNGBLUD, Bad Religion, The Academy Is…, Action Bronson, Alexisonfire, Less Than Jake, and more. The three-day festival kicks off Friday, September 17 at 11 AM in Douglas Park and goes until Sunday, September 19th. You can still get tickets here.

Originally formed in 2004, Las Vegas’ Panic! At the Disco is now one of rock’s most successful acts. Though Breden Urie remains the sole original member, he’s been making upbeat, high-energy, infectious tunes for nearly 20 years under the banner. In support of their latest album Viva Las Vengeance, Panic! At the Disco will perform at the United Center on Saturday, September 17th at 7 PM. Tickets.
