It’s certainly no spoiler-alert that Bob Mould bulldozed his way through his performance Friday at Chicago’s famed Metro. Bob’s live performances have been synonymous with smoldering intensity for the past three-plus decades. On tour to support his impossibly melodic release Patch the Sky, the Minnesota native deliver a career spanning set list that included stops from every facet of his storied catalog (Husker Du, Sugar and solo material).
J. Robbins, also no stranger to an impressive resume (Government Issue, Jawbox), helped jump start the proceedings. IE’s Curt Baran was on hand to translate the evening into a high pixel count.
