The modern music business is littered with guitarists that are considered virtuosos, some deserving – many not. There are so many technically gifted guitarists touring these days, it’s hard to tell the players without a scorecard.

When it comes to acoustic guitar players, there are few that match the originality and ability of English guitarist, Adrian Legg. When acclaimed axeman Steve Vai calls you “Uncle Adrian,” and says Legg is “simply the best acoustic guitar player I’ve ever heard. I don’t know anyone else who can create such a cascade of beautiful notes…Adrian plays like he’s got hammers for fingers,” you know it’s serious. Legg’s heyday was during the salad days of guitar heroes of the ’90s when he was signed to Relativity Records, showcasing his incredible fingerstyle acoustic abilities and guitar synths.

Legg appears tonight Saturday, 11/22 in an intimate setting at Tobias Music‘s performance room in Downers Grove, that combines the best of a living room studio and and acoustic coffee house – attached to a music store(!) Tickets are $25 at the door with limited seating:
5013 Fairview Ave, Downers Grove, IL 60515; Call to reserve seating with reservation (630) 960-2455
