In the context of a band, compare what Jeff Beck did with Jeff Beck Group with what Page did with Zeppelin, and there is really no comparison. Beck is a great guitarist, but his legacy is nowhere near Page's. And if you want to talk about Beck's skills as an instrumentalist, he's not in the same league as a guy like Satriani, who is more technically proficient and writes songs that are "head-and-shoulders better" than what Beck has done.
